Bright tube corallites whose large tentacles open to feed rather than to photosynthesise.

  • Orange or yellow polyps against a darker skeleton; the most consistently colored LPS in the trade
  • Non-photosynthetic — it must be target-fed, and it will starve in a tank that only lights it
  • Polyps stay closed most of the day and open for food
